Hello Lighthouse Family,
It is with great excitement that I announce the 2nd Lighthouse Charter School Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, May 10th!
For the parents who completed the survey through Columbia University a few weeks ago, we thank you. However, we also understand that others may be better at expressing themselves in person, so we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to share what is working well at Lighthouse, and what we can do to improve. With only 24 days left in our inaugural school year, we want to take this time to reflect on the successes and the areas of improvement. You, your children and families, the staff of Lighthouse and the West Sacramento community have made this an amazing school year, but we also recognize and acknowledge that we are not perfect, and there is always room for growth.
We will have two meetings in order to accommodate as many families as possible. Since this will be our last town hall meeting of the school year, we hope to see many new faces! We will meet right after school starts, 8:30am-9:30am, and again in the evening, 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please try your best to attend one of these sessions so that your voice can be heard.
I will be in attendance along with Superintendent Steve Lewis, and we are inviting some of our board members to attend so that they can hear directly from you.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
